Walkway Over the Hudson purchased the Poughkeepsie railroad bridge 20 years ago with a future in mind. Opening the bridge in 2009 was just the first step.

• A 21-story, glass-encased elevator connecting Walkway to a lush, riverfront park
• A Welcome Center to share our rich, Hudson Valley history

• Programming for our community, students, seniors and the mobility impaired... a $100 membership funds a local elementary school field trip to the Walkway
• Recruitment and training of Park Volunteers and Ambassadors... a $500 membership helps cover costs for Friday night late openings
• Purchasing American flags and Walkway banners... a $1,000 membership covers flag replacement costs for one year

Once a month we turn on the lights and open Walkway under the night sky. Our Moonwalks have the best view of the moon in the Hudson Valley, and they are open to members exclusively. Membership levels and other benefits include:
