Summer Heat Advisory
Visitors to the bridge should be aware that there are currently no shaded areas or beverage vendors on the bridge, although there are beverages available at either end. Please plan accordingly so your visit can be as pleasant and safe as possible.

A special note to dog owners who wish to bring their dog to the walkway on sunny, hot days:
The concrete surface can achieve temperatures in excess of 20 degrees higher than the ambient air temperature. This extreme temperature difference can cause stress on dogs' feet and have adverse health effects. We kindly ask owners to observe weather conditions and consider the welfare of their pet.

Handicapped Access

There is handicapped parking available on both ends of the bridge.   The Walkway is wheelchair accessible and motorized scooters are allowed (for the handicapped only).  There are no equipment rentals on site.

Uses
Walking
Jogging
Biking
Rollerblading

No skateboards or motorized vehicles are allowed

Pets are allowed but must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Owners are requested to clean up after their pets. Waste bags and trash receptacles are available at either end of the bridge.

This is an smoke and alcohol free park.

Amenities
There are currently no benches or seating areas on the bridge, although we anticipate adding this and other amenities as funding allows.

Rest rooms are available at either end of the bridge.
