Walkway Hires Development Manager

"Ellen brings a tremendous amount of experience, talent and professionalism to Walkway Over the Hudson. She is already contributing greatly to our mission," said Walkway Executive Director Elizabeth Waldstein-Hart. "As we enter our third year as one of New York's most popular and exciting parks, Walkway State Park is facing many new challenges, such as the building of a new waterfront elevator and connecting with the Dutchess Rail Trail. Capable and dedicated people like Ellen will help us get the job done right."
Ms. Henneberry, a Rhinebeck resident, will serve as Walkway's development manager overseeing the organization's fundraising efforts. Ms. Henneberry worked at Omega Institute in Rhinebeck where she held a dual role for individual giving and event planning. Prior to joining Omega, she consulted for the Office of Advancement at the Culinary Institute of America. Previously, she was co-owner of the popular Twist Restaurant in Hyde Park.
"In many ways, the Walkway has become the crown jewel of the Hudson Valley, something we can all be proud of," said Ms. Henneberry. "I'm looking forward to contributing to this great organization and building upon its considerable success."
