Member Moonwalk & Skyfest: Friday, October 18, 2013!

Join us for our Member Moonwalk on Friday, October 18 from 7:00-p.m.- 10:00 p.m. Both the East & West Walkway Entrances will be open for the October Moonwalk held in conjunction with Bardavon's SKYFEST.
Once a month we open the Walkway for an evening stroll under the full moon and starry skies. Normally this event is for Walkway Members only, but this month's event is open to the public and occurs alongside SKYFEST, presented by the Bardavon 1869 Opera House.
- Free admission for Walkway Members (please bring membership card)
- $5 general public
(tickets can be purchased at the gate or at Bardavon.org.
7:00 p.m.: Both Bridge entrances will be open for the public
7:30 p.m.: "Wonders of the Autumn Sky" lecture with astronomer Bob Berman, followed by stargazing and moon viewing through telescopes provided by the Mid-Hudson Astronomy Club
Also: Artists are encouraged to join on-site with easel or camera in hand to capture the evening sky. Works created on-site will be exhibited at Barrett Art Center and Adriance Memorial Library. Member moonwalk is weather dependent. Cloud date for this special Moonwalk is Friday, October 18th (same times apply). Please check Facebook for inclement weather cancellations.
