THERE'S MAGIC ON THE WALKWAY AT NIGHT

The Friends of the Walkway nonprofit organization welcomes you to enjoy amazing Hudson Valley views after dark from 212 feet above the Hudson River at Walkway at Night. With the moon hanging high in the sky and Poughkeepsie and Highland twinkling in the distance, there is nothing like a twilight evening on the World's Longest Elevated Pedestrian Bridge.

Weather permitting, our friends from the Mid-Hudson Astronomical Association will be on-bridge with telescopes to view the night sky.

Everyone, including children, must reserve a ticket for entry and check in at the gate upon arrival.

Walkway members are welcome to attend all Walkway at Night events at no cost. Non-members can register for $5. Members have been provided a special discount code to use upon registration providing one complimentary admission to Individual members, and up to four complimentary admissions for Household members. To become a Walkway member and receive your discount code, visit join.walkway.org.

All proceeds and additional donations support the Friends of the Walkway and our mission to host community events like Walkway at Night, add amenities to the park, undertake capital construction projects, support the volunteer Ambassadors, and much more.

PLEASE NOTE

PARKING - Parking is available at both sides of the Walkway. Details are found on the Walkway website's FAQ webpage. Learn more via the button below. Handicap parking spaces are available at both entrances. Please note the elevator is not operating during this event so the bridge will not be accessible via the parking lot near the base of the elevator (Upper Landing Park located at 82 North Water Street, Poughkeepsie).

ELEVATOR - The elevator does not operate during Walkway at Night.

PETS - We welcome pets to Walkway at Night. Animals must be controlled at all times and on leashes that are no longer than 6 feet. Pets are not permitted in buildings or in any area that is designated as closed to pets. Owners must pick up after their pets and dispose of pet waste properly. We recommend pets wear an illumination device during their visit. This could be an light-up collar, harness, or other device.

ACCESSIBILITY - The Walkway has ADA handicapped-accessible entrances and there are handicap parking spaces at both ends. No stairs are required to access the bridge. We apologize but the elevator is not presently operating during Walkway at Night. To read about accessibility features, visit the Walkway website's FAQ webpage.

RESTROOMS - Indoor restrooms are available inside the Welcome Centers on both approaches.

WEATHER - If inclement weather makes the bridge unsafe for visitors, NYS Parks staff may close the bridge until conditions improve. If this happens during a Walkway at Night event, the event may be postponed or cancelled. We will make an announcement on the Walkway's Facebook page if that happens.

REFUNDS/TRANSFERS - All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. In the event a Walkway at Night is cancelled, ticket holders will be offered a transfer of their tickets toward a Walkway at Night event happening later in the season.
